PETROPERU supports and participates in celebrations for the anniversary of Ilo

PETROPERU will promote cultural and artistic activities from Wednesday 22 to Saturday 25, on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the political creation of the province of Ilo, Moquegua region, in coordination with the Provincial Municipality of Ilo.

The state oil company has scheduled several activities, such as the presentation of the book "The Great Inca Route - El Capaq Ñan", a bibliographic material edited by PETROPERU, under the Copé Ediciones label. This presentation will have the presence of its author, Ricardo Espinosa, and will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, the 22nd in the auditorium of the Centro Cultural Peruano Norteamericano.

Also, on Thursday 23 and Friday 24, the population of Ilo will enjoy open-air cinema functions in two locations: the Plaza de la Bandera, in the Pampa Inalámbrica and in the Municipal Amphitheater. Access to both functions will be free of charge, starting at 7:00 p.m.

As a closing of its participation, the state oil company will celebrate its tribute to the city of Ilo with the spectacle of the popular "Bartola", who will offer her serenade to the port, from 21:00, with her show "My life, art… It's me!". This evento will take place on Saturday 25, at the PETROPERU Esplanade, in Ilo. Admission is free.

These activities reinforce the commitment of the state oil company to the cultural promotion and integral development of Ilo, a city in which it is implementing the construction of a new fuel storage and distribution terminal for the southern region of the country.
