PETROPERÚ strengthens its organizational structure to return to the upstream
PETROPERÚ's Board of Directors approved a new organizational structure, in accordance with the characteristics of a hydrocarbon company and with the strategic objectives of the company, which prepares its return to hydrocarbon production activities (upstream).
Along these lines, the new PETROPERÚ organization includes a Corporate Exploration and Exploitation Management, which will be in charge of managing the activities in Lot I of Talara, which will be operated by PETROPERÚ as of December 27. Later, it will continue with lots 192 and 64, in Loreto; as well as other feasible lots in the country.
In addition, the new organization will contribute to optimizing the management of the company, which next year will begin the gradual start-up of the New Talara Refinery, as well as the continuity of other important ongoing projects that will allow PETROPERÚ to strengthen itself as a modern company and sustainable, with social and environmental responsibility.
All corporate managements are led by professionals with extensive experience, many of whom have extensive experience in PETROPERÚ and other companies in the sector, in which they have stood out for their professionalism and high level of knowledge that will contribute to the achievement of the objectives.
The new Administration of PETROPERÚ has been reinforcing the social function of the Company, for which efficiencies are being generated in order to offer the best quality products at the most competitive prices in the market.
