Among the key actions, he pointed out the implementation of an aggressive commercial strategy to close 2024 with a market share of 28% and reach 38% in 2025. “Petroperú does not seek to monopolize, but to compete in a transparent manner, offering quality products at competitive prices,” he said during his presentation at the VII National Congress of Gas Stations and Service Stations.
Narvaéz Liceras pointed out that the positive projections and renewed leadership seek to consolidate Petroperú as a key player in the country's energy development, guaranteeing its sustainability and contributing to the well-being of Peruvians. “Although the company is going through a critical situation, the result of poor management, it is not insurmountable. In the two weeks that we have been at the head of the company, we have done what we had to do to stop the brutal decline in terms of business," he said.
He also highlighted the progress in the stabilization process of the New Talara Refinery, which according to the latest reports is processing 90 thousand barrels of oil per day, guaranteeing the supply of high-quality fuels such as gasoline, diesel, LPG and aviation fuels.
