PETROPERU strengthens its Corporate Governance practices

The General Manager of PETROPERU, Esteban Bertarelli Bustamante, participated in the Congress of the Program for the Efficient and Sustainable Management of Energy Resources of Peru (PROSEMER), called "Energy Planning and efficient and sustainable management of the energy resources of Peru".

The seminar, aimed at officers of the energy sector, was attended by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Energy and Mines, Osinergmin, FONAFE, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Canadian Cooperation.

During his presentation, Bertarelli Bustamante highlighted the support provided by PROSEMER to PETROPERU for the implementation of Corporate Governance (BGC).

"PETROPERU maintains a permanent commitment to the implementation of good practices in BGC, expressed in our internal regulations and in the legislation that governs, as well as in the activity of the Board of Directors, Management and its employees" concluded.

PROSEMER is a program financed by the IDB and aims to strengthen the planning, management and regulation capacities of the energy sector institutions of which the state oil company was the beneficiary.
