PETROPERU starts repairs on the entrance to the city of Talara
Admission to the city of Talara will change face, thanks to the work being done, commissioned by PETROPERU, in order to recover public spaces for the enjoyment of residents and visitors of the Regional Capital of Tourism, Sun and Beach.
The recovery works of the entrance road to the oil city, adjacent to the human settlement "Cristo Rey" and the area known as "Cola de Gato" in Talara Alta, began last Thursday, May 3 and will continue for 30 days.
During this period, the recovery and arborization of 1,470 m2 of green areas, the replacement of the damaged blocks, the improvement and painting of the planters, the maintenance of the children's games and the roofing of the central part of the road, among other actions that will improve the decoration.
Currently, the staff hired for these tasks is placing adequate soil for the planters, and will proceed with the planting of ornamental plants that match the climate of the city.
This work is executed as part of the "Support to Local Development" program of the Community Relations Plan (PRC) of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project (PMRT) of PETROPERU, with an investment of S/ 176,800 soles.
This way, the state company contributes to the recovery of the spaces of the city and to raise awareness about the care of the environment and the decoration of the city.
