PETROPERU starts building a classroom at amazonas school

PETROPERU, in fulfillment of the commitments assumed with the communities of its area of influence, began the construction of a classroom and hygienic services in Educational Institution 17088 of the Cuzunatac native community, next to Station 6 of the North Peruvian Pipeline.

The school, located in the town of Imaza, in Bagua, Amazonas region, has 150 students and will have a classroom equipped with furniture adapted to the pedagogical needs; such as unipersonal folders, desk, bookshelf and blackboard. In addition, a conditioned module for hygienic services for children.

During the delivery of the land for construction, PETROPERU personnel reiterated the commitment of the Company to develop actions that contribute to improving the educational quality of students in the area.

In the ceremony was present Rogger Yampis, representative of the CCNN Cuzunatac; also, Elvis Atanain Kiwi and Ever Paape Unuk, director and president of the APAFA of the institution, respectively.

It should be noted that Consorcio Amazonas is responsible for the work and has a period of 45 days to deliver the new facilities. In this way, PETROPERU confirms its willingness to fulfill its commitments with the communities neighboring its operations, contributing to the improvement of its quality of life.
