PETROPERU sponsors christmas lights festival in Ilo
In an atmosphere of excitement the XVI Christmas Lights Festival was inaugurated in Ilo, sponsored by PETROPERÚ. The traditional event brought together the citizens of Ilo and tourists who met in the Plaza de Armas of the province of Moquegua.
The state oil company was responsible for lighting the lights that decorated the Church of San Jerónimo, the portals and the atrium located in the center of the city. In addition, the public was delighted with the presentation of the Children's Choir of the IEP Ricardo Palma, Symphony Orchestra of the Hermandad del Señor de los Milagros and a children's show.
Catherine Rendón, representative of PETROPERU, thanked the authorities for allowing the company to be part of this celebration and transmitted the institutional greeting to all the Iliac citizens so that in these holidays there is peace and love in each of their homes.
For his part, the mayor of the Provincial Municipality of Ilo, Willam Valdivia Dávila, acknowledged the support of the private company in this important event, which is highly anticipated by children and families from Ile.
With this contribution PETROPERU strengthens its commitment and identification with the province of Ilo, thus strengthening its social responsibility policy.
