Petroperú signs financial operations to guarantee its sustainability
Petroperú signed financial operations, along with the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and the Banco de la Nación, within the framework of Emergency Decree No. 13-2024, which seek to guarantee the sustainability of the company.
This is how an addendum was signed to the Credit Line Contract for foreign trade operations with Sovereign Guarantee, which extends the validity of Petroperú's credit line until July 31, 2025, allowing the acceptance of foreign trade instruments until May 31 of the same year.
Likewise, a Contractual Position Assignment Agreement was signed to guarantee the payment of up to US$800 million, plus interest, corresponding to the loan granted to Petroperú for working capital, due on January 22, 2025.
Likewise, a Loan Agreement with a National Government Guarantee was established for an amount in soles equivalent to US$1,000 million, valid until September 14, 2025.
Petroperú reiterates its commitment to continue implementing actions that allow it to improve its management, operations and finances, in line with government requirements, as well as to maintain transparent communication on the progress of its comprehensive transformation process and the responsible use of the financial facilities granted by the government to honor its commitments.
