Petroperú signed a contract to start the strengthening plan

On January 19, Petroperú signed a contract with the prestigious international specialized consulting firm Arthur D. Little LLC, in consortium with Columbus HB Latam Inc., to execute the service for preparing the Company's Restructuring Plan, which must be presented to its Board Shareholders Meeting before July 31 of this year, in compliance with the provisions of Emergency Decree No. 023-2022. With this milestone, the contracting of the service was carried out before the term established in article 4.1 of the aforementioned emergency decree.

It should be noted that, in the consultant selection process, various internationally recognized specialized international companies were called, receiving six proposals, which were evaluated in their technical and economic aspects, resulting in the consortium in question winning.

The purpose of the Restructuring Plan is to strengthen governance, as well as ensure the financial sustainability and operations of the company. In this sense, the Arthur D. Little – Columbus Consortium accredited the necessary experience in formulating business strategies and restructuring plans in various companies in the hydrocarbon and energy industry globally; Likewise, they have extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector, governance, business strategy, corporate finance, company valuation, financial structuring, digital transformation, information management, marketing, organization and transformation, sustainability, among other fields.

Petroperú remains firm in its objective of ensuring its sustainability, complying with the commitments stipulated in Emergency Decree No. 023-2022, in line with improving transparency and efficiency in its management.
