PETROPERÚ's Board of Directors appoints General Manager and renews its management plan

PETROPERÚ's Board of Directors agreed to appoint Mg. Cristina Fung Quiñones as the new General Manager in charge of the Company, who has more than 20 years of professional experience in the field of strategic and financial planning, budgeting, accounting, risk management and insurance. in the hydrocarbon sector. She had previously held the position and, previously, had served as Corporate Planning, Management and Risk Manager of PETROPERÚ and as Corporate Administration and Finance Manager, from October 2020 to February 2021, period in which the second successful bond placement in the international market was achieved, corresponding to the financing of the New Talara Refinery, as a result of an adequate relationship with the interest groups linked to this management, including the external auditors.

Mg. Cristina Fung is a certified public accountant, having developed her master's degree in Administration with a mention in Finance at ESAN University. She was, in 2020, the first woman appointed to the General Management of the Company. Together with her, the Board of Directors approved the commissioning of the following officials in qualified management and trust positions:

• Juan José Huamancayo Pierrend, Commercial Corporate Management;
• José Alfredo Coronel Escobar, Corporate Supply Chain Management;

It should be noted that Mag. Cristina Fung, like the professionals in charge of the different corporate managements, are career officials at PETROPERÚ and have professional experience in the hydrocarbon sector, meeting the requirements established in the profiles for the positions they hold. The changes were approved by Board agreements No. 041-2022-PP and No. 042-2022-PP dated April 3, 2022.
