PETROPERU’s Bayovar terminal receives recertification in Quality Management System

The Bayovar Terminal of the Operations Subdivision of the North Peruvian Pipeline (ONP) of PETROPERU, located in the province of Sechura, in Piura, obtained the recertification of the Integrated Quality Management System thanks to the improvements that are continuously implemented in its operation. This is in the framework of the re-certification of the Company in the Integrated Corporate Management System (SIG-C).

As evidence of this, the ONP Operations Sub-Directorate received, from the hands of the Corporate Environment, Safety and Occupational Health Manager, Carlos Centurión, the certificates accredited by UKAS and ANAB, accreditation bodies of the United Kingdom and the United States, respectively.

For this achievement, the ONP Operations Manager was present at the recertification audit of the SIG-C, which includes the Quality Management System, based on the ISO 9001:2015 Standard, the scope of which included the processes of receiving, storing and dispatching liquid hydrocarbons in the Bayovar Maritime Terminal and basic port services without any significant finding, guaranteeing the maintenance of the SIG-C and the continuous improvement of the System.

Likewise, the objectives, legal requirements, requirements of the organization, verification of the PHVA cycle (Plan, Do, Verify and Act) of the audit to be performed were audited. As well as the field visits for the verification in situ of the procedures of boarding, disembarkation (dock), storage and dispatch (tank yard and operator's house) and meter area.

This way, the different operations of PETROPERU maintain and constantly optimize their technical and administrative management systems in the line of continuous improvement of the highest quality standards required in the industry.
