PETROPERU rewarded the talent of children in drawing contest
As part of the educational activities carried out by PETROPERU with the purpose of facilitating learning in children and adolescents on social, cultural and environmental issues, a drawing and painting contest was recently held at the Museo del Petroleo, located in Parque de las Leyendas.
There were 30 participants, ages 5 to 14, who reflected their creativity in topics related to nature and climate change, as well as in Peruvian landscapes and food.
The winner in the category "Knowing the flora and fauna" was Rizvan Lizarbe, five years old, who received a children’s tablet. On the other hand, Anjaly Salvador, 10 years old, won in the second category "I love my planet: ways to take care of him" and received a tablet; while the winner in the third category "The beauty of our country" was Giuliana Vilchez, 13, who also took a tablet.
The jury was made up of Claudia Diaz, a preschool and primary educator; Silvana Salinas, plastic artist and designer; and Andrea Pereda, educational psychologist specialized in childhood.
Additionally, all contestants received a pencil case and a ball for their participation.
