PETROPERÚ resumes its cycle of conferences "Crossroads of the Bicentennial"
PETROPERÚ resumes its successful cycle of conferences "Crossroads of the Bicentennial" with the presentation "Nationalism, the angel of the home and women writers: La Revista de Lima, La Bella Limeña and El Álbum". The day will take place next Tuesday, June 14, via the Facebook live of the Petroperú Cultural Center, from 7 p.m.
The speaker will be Laura Liendo, Master in Iberian and Latin American Studies from the University of Notre Dame (USA).
This new cycle of conferences, established by PETROPERÚ in 2020, is part of the Company's commitment to provide a space for dialogue, debate and understanding of the various scenarios of history by Peruvian and foreign researchers, within the framework of the cultural policy of the state oil company.
The sessions will take place every Tuesday in June, anticipating the presence, on the following dates, of Ainaí Morales, with the theme El Perú Ilustrado (1887-1892): letter, image, consumption, humor and the overflows of modernity and Marcel Velázquez , who will address everything related to popular humor and anticlericalism: Monos y Monadas and Fray K. Bezón in the Lima of the nineteen hundreds.
