PETROPERU reports unilateral suspension of the activities of felguera related to the construction of the Ilo Terminal

PETROPERU addresses the public opinion to report the following:

• Felguera, the main contractor for the construction of the new Ilo Terminal, has unilaterally and arbitrarily suspended the activities of this important project.
• As a result of this decision, the TGP company, sub contractor of Felguera, has begun the dismissal of the personnel that had been working on the Project, also causing a serious damage to PETROPERU due to the delay in the construction of this important industrial plant with which it expects expand the fuel supply capacity to the southern regions of the country.
• Faced with this unfortunate situation, PETROPERU has been carrying out the corresponding legal actions.
• PETROPERU confirms that it will continue to honor its social commitments with the population of Ilo, maintaining a permanent dialogue with the local authorities and representatives of the Dialogue Table.
