Petroperú reports on audited financial statements 2021

On April 29, 2022, the Comptroller General of the Republic authorized Petroperú to sign a contract with the auditing company Gaveglio Aparicio y Asociados SCRL – PWC to carry out the external audit of its 2021 financial statements, which was signed on April 3. May 2022.

In said contract, August 31, 2022 is indicated as the date of delivery of the external audit opinion to the financial statements of Petroperú.

The company and the auditing company have agreed to extend this term until September 9, 2022 in order to conclude with the review of the forensic due diligence information carried out by an independent expert, as well as the control reports of the Comptroller General of the Republic and the Institutional Control Body.

After said review is completed, the auditing company may issue its opinion on the financial statements for the year 2021 within the agreed term. It should be noted that the modification of the term has been duly managed before the Comptroller General of the Republic.
