Petroperú reports about the New Talara Refinery

Petroperú S.A. informs the public of the following:

1. The Flexicoking Unit (FCK) of the New Talara Refinery (NRT), since February 8, 2024, has been experiencing problems in its operations. Likewise, as a consequence of the failure of the National Interconnected Electrical System, which occurred on March 1, the refining complex was completely stopped.
2. Due to this, the FCK has entered a stage of stopping its operations to carry out inspection and repair work for an estimated period of 90 days starting March 30, which includes the start-up maneuvers, with the objective to guarantee its continuity and operational reliability.
3. To date, the NRT continues with the production of fuels such as Turbo A-1, diesel, gasoline, LPG and residuals through the different processing plants of the refining complex that are in service at 76% of their production capacity. .
4. Petroperú S.A. guarantees the timely supply of fuels to its clients in the national market.
