Petroperú recovers sports spaces in Talara
Thanks to the joint work between authorities, neighborhood leaders and Petroperú, the renovation of the multidisciplinary sports court in Parque 53, in the district of Pariñas, in Talara, will soon be a reality, where more children and adolescents will be able to practice their favorite sport.
This is thanks to the commitment of the state oil company that will carry out the conditioning service of said court, as part of the community relations actions of Petroperú in the province of Talara, seeking to increase the number of sports and recreational spaces in the city.
The maintenance and improvement works will be carried out during 60 days with the participation of local personnel from the area, in compliance with the commitments to hire local labor and in coordination with the neighborhood leaders of the place.
Among the works to be carried out are the conditioning and painting of the sports court, the supply of sports goals for soccer, the installation of volleyball posts and net, as well as a basketball backboard. Children's games with covered benches will also be implemented.
Likewise, the construction of a perimeter wall and the installation of metal mesh will be included, as well as the lighting of the sports venue, using solar panels.
In this way, Petroperú reaffirms its commitment to the population of the oil province and fulfills its commitment to contribute to the improvement of public areas, the promotion of sports and the beautification of the city, in line with its Social Management Policy and Community Relations Plan in Talara.
During 2023, Petroperú contributed with the local authorities of the districts of Pariñas and La Brea-Negritos in the improvement of sports and recreation spaces, rehabilitating the Inca Pachacútec Coliseum in Negritos and more than twelve multi-sports slabs in Pariñas.
