PETROPERU recovers public spaces of Talara
As part of its social commitments, PETROPERÚ delivered to the Provincial Municipality of Talara the improvement and recovery works of three public spaces located in different parts of the city for the rest and recreation of the residents of the Northern Cone, Southern Cone and Satellite City.
"This is an advance that encourages us to continue working together, to make Talara a peaceful and safe city that translates into work and well-being for our neighbors," said the Mayor of Talara, José Vitonera Infante, during the ceremony delivery of the park that is located in the outer zone of the Captain FAP Victor Montes airport.
This new recreation space has a new infrastructure, areas enabled for green areas and trees, and an attractive pool with colored LED lights and an internal system that guarantees the rationed and efficient use of water, by recirculating that of its own cistern.
In the Sacobsa urbanization, a public space was recovered that is now enjoyed by neighbors, especially children, who have an equipped playground and surrounded by green areas. This work also included concrete walls, sardines and floors, as well as an environmentally friendly solar lighting system.
In the Estibadores neighborhood of the northern cone, the plaza located between San Agustin and October 9 streets has been rehabilitated, where the natural landscape invites families to share moments of recreation in a safe space.
PETROPERU reported that these works have recovered 1200 m² of public spaces, with an approximate investment of S/ 400,000. In this way, the state company reaffirms its commitment to continue contributing to the development and improvement of the quality of life of the residents of this province, in line with the Local Development Support Program of the Community Relations Plan of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project.
