PETROPERÚ recoveres public space through urban art

A unique solidarity day was held by PETROPERU at the Special Institution of Initial Education Monte María, in Villa El Salvador, where it was possible –with the enthusiastic support and participation of parents and students– to improve the façade and side walls of the school, with the resealed, sanded and painted.

The campus, one of the most emblematic in the district, is located in an area near the Conchán Refinery, where dozens of students were directly benefited from this campaign, which is part of the Social Management Plan of the state oil company.

The supplies for this day, such as brushes, sandpaper, putty and paint, were provided by PETROPERU, whose workers also joined forces and actively intervened, achieving - at the end - giving new life to the walls with striking murals, where creativity came especially of the smallest.

This work together allowed to recover a public space through urban art, demonstrating at the same time the mastery of color and forms by those who participated in the joyful day.
