PETROPERU reaffirms the compliance of its commitments at the Ilo dialogue table

The deputy manager of Social Development of PETROPERU, Tomas Flores Noriega, along with representatives of the Company, participated in the XII Dialogue Table; in which he stated that the Company has been fulfilling all the commitments assumed in the province of Ilo.

"The relocation of the PETROPERU plant in Lomas La Buitrera is a reality, along with the members of the table we have verified that we have personnel and machinery that is carrying out activities in the New Ilo Terminal. Last week we had the visit of the representatives of the dialogue table, which have been satisfied with the information that has been provided," he said.

Likewise, it is expected the reception - by the Provincial Municipality of Ilo - of the maintenance works of Av. Mariano Lino Urquieta and thus start work on Av. Argentina in the Garibaldi Urbanization. While the coordination with representatives of the San Luis IEP continues for the viability of their request for the construction of a wall adjacent to the current supply plant, as well as the progress in the conversations with the Ilo artisanal fishermen's guild; both institutions are members of the Dialogue Table.

"We are fulfilling all of our commitments. PETROPERU, as an institutional policy of social management, always seeks to maintain a permanent dialogue with the authorities and different social actors, through the Dialogue Table", reiterated Flores. Subsequently, it was reported that the Company would be the main sponsor of the Christmas Lights Festival that will illuminate the main church of the city during those festivities.

In the coming days, PETROPERU will deliver a technical report to the Provincial Municipality of Ilo on the current situation of the New Terminal. For its part, the local commune will send a report on the balance sheet of the Dialogue Table in this outgoing municipal management.

The last dialogue table of this year was scheduled for December 27 at 10:30 a.m. in the meeting room of municipal management.
