PETROPERU reaffirms its zero tolerance for discrimination
As part of the actions that are being implemented in order to strengthen PETROPERU's good corporate governance, the Board of the state-owned company approved the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Policy, which includes a series of actions that will contribute to promoting a culture internal equity, diversity and inclusion.
In this way, PETROPERU ratified its zero tolerance for discriminatory behaviors, promoting respectful behavior within the organization, through actions that involve all staff, as well as its contractors and suppliers.
In line with the policy, equal opportunities and criteria will be promoted with all people, without distinction of gender, age, social condition, religion, sexual orientation, race, color, marital status, unionization, political opinion, disability, nationality, among others.
In the same way, actions will be implemented that contribute to having a healthy and safe workplace, free from harassment, harassment, discrimination and violence, which allow the physical and mental well-being of the workers.
The approved policy also contemplates the design and implementation of procedures and guidelines for managing people, where the exclusion of any obstacle that does not allow the adequate incorporation and development of performance within the company is considered.
In the same way, PETROPERU will promote equity, inclusion and diversity among its different stakeholders, through actions that will be progressively implemented in order to strengthen its institutional relationship and consolidate its corporate reputation.
