PETROPERU provided free medical attention to neighbors of Talara

The residents of the fence of Talara received health care and medicines in the second medical campaign that PETROPERU carried out in the city's civic center.

From Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 September, the patients were treated in the specialties of general medicine, pediatrics, ophthalmology, dentistry, pulmonology, nutrition, physical therapy and laboratory; receiving, according to diagnosis, medications at no cost.

This health initiative is part of the commitments of the state oil company with the Local Development Support Program, of the Community Relations Plan of the Environmental Impact Study, of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project, which seeks to bring specialized medical services that impact on a better quality of life of the inhabitants of the oil city.

Upcoming medical campaigns

This year, PETROPERU has scheduled four free medical campaigns that will benefit more than 3,500 low-income residents of this province. The first was held in the North Cone and the second in the city center. The next health campaigns will be held in October in the Southern Cone and in November in Satellite City.
