PETROPERU promotes national marinera competition in Talara

More than one hundred couples are preparing to participate in the Marinera National Selective I in Talara organized by Club Libertad de Trujillo, with the supportof PETROPERU, next Sunday, June 2, starting at 12 noon, in the Coliseum of the Villa of the Peruvian Air Force (FAP).

In this national competition, Talara couples and from other cities in the country will participate in nine categories, who in recent weeks have intensified their rehearsals to offer a nice show to the audience, arrive on the podium and earn their qualification for the next Marinera World Cup competition, to be held in Trujillo in January 2019.

This contest that makes the country cheer every year brings together the champions of this typical Peruvian dance that is recognized throughout the world, many of which came to this contest after participating in the national and international selections such as the one that will take place in Talara.

Through the auspice of these activities that fill the Peruvians with pride and that offer the best of our folklore, PETROPERU contributes to the promotion of culture and art in the city of Talara, where it develops a cultural agenda that includes the organization of diverse activities for the delight of the public of all ages.
