PETROPERÚ presents show of criolla and folklore music
As part of its Cultural Management Policy, PETROPERU and the José María Arguedas National Superior School of Folklore (ENSFJMA) jointly organize the show “Sonantes, cantantes y danzantes”, in which works from the Peruvian musical heritage will be performed.
The event will take place in the Auditorium of the PETROPERU Culture Center located at the main headquarters of the Company, located at Av. Canaval and Moreyra No. 150, San Isidro, on Monday, September 30, starting at 7:00 pm. Admission is free until the auditorium capacity is reached.
Renowned Creole and folk artists such as Rosa Guzmán, Lalo Izquierdo, Jorge Talaviña, Mila Gutiérrez, Tito Manrique, Marino Martínez, Cimarrón Collective, the National Ensemble of Dances and Folk Music of Peru (generation 1991-2003), among others great artists.
During the show, the Ceremony of Recognition to the Outstanding Graduate 2019 of the ENSFJMA will be held, in merit to the professionals who have achieved a position in the pedagogical, artistic and cultural field, inside and outside the country. The ENSFJMA is the first and only educational institution in Peru, with university rank, which offers professional teaching and artistic training in the specialty of folklore, in mentions of music and dances.
This event is part of the PETROPERU Cultural Management Plan whose objective is to promote the production and access to culture, as well as intercultural citizenship, through the support and promotion of the various manifestations of national art and culture.
