PETROPERU presents photographic exhibition in celebration of marinera

Petroperu, in coordination with the Monsefú Cultural Association, presents the photographic exhibition "La Marinera, el baile del pañuelo en el aire", which includes a selection of images that reflect the different moments of this traditional Peruvian dance, which stands out for the majesty of his wardrobe.

The exhibition, which opened yesterday with a large audience, will be exhibited in the Cultural Center hall and is made up of 19 photographs in different formats, as well as two panels done using a collage technique. The exhibition will be open until July 4. Admission is free

Carla Santa Cruz, Petroperu's Deputy Manager of Communications, highlighted the importance of this show, since the marinera is cultural heritage of the Nation and is one of the main artistic manifestations of our country. "As a company we are proud to highlight this symbol of cultural identity, intangible heritage and cultural diversity," he said.

The inauguration of the photographic exhibition was complemented by a lecture on the history of the marinera by Javier Ocampo, curator of the exhibition.

This initiative is part of the cultural policy of Petroperu, which supports and promotes the various artistic manifestations, such as our typical dances.
