PETROPERU presents Madre Tierra exhibition

PETROPERU takes up its agenda of artistic exhibitions with the sculpture exhibition "Madre Tierra V. Del Patrimonio Industrial al Cuerpo Escultórico" (Mother Earth V. From the Industrial Heritage to the Sculptural Body), to be inaugurated next Thursday, April 25 at 7.30 p.m. in the PETROPERU Art Room, located at Av. Enrique Canaval Moreyra 150, San Isidro, Lima.

The sculpture exhibition is aimed at motivating a reflection and approach to art made with industrial material. A proposal of the Peruvian sculpture on resources known as industrial heritage.

“Madre Tierra V. Del Patrimonio Industrial al Cuerpo Escultórico” is an updated look at the past and the various paths of artistic creation in modern and contemporary Peru, based on sculpture or object art, especially the one that contemplates metal support, material par excellence that represents the modernization of society, through the establishment of industries, among other materials.

The Madre Tierra exhibition, in its fifth edition, brings together 16 artists of outstanding trajectory and projection, including Víctor Delfín, Javier Enrique Aldana Rivera, Judith Ayala, César Campos, Mónica Gonzalez Tobón, Pool Guillén, Manuel Larrea Hernández, Joaquín Liebana, Emilio Longhi Cáceres, Anna Maccagno, Ciro Palacios, Iliana Scheggia, Mario Torres Sánchez, Miguel Ángel Velit, Percy Zorrilla and Alberto Guzmán.

The exhibition, under the curatorship of Canal Museal, will be open to the public from April 25 to June 21. From Monday to Friday from 11 am to 6 pm. FREE ADMISSION.
