PETROPERU presented The Great Inca Route in Ilo

PETROPERU presented The Great Inca Route in Ilo

Starting the celebrations for the 49th anniversary of the province of Ilo, the third edition of "The Great Inca Route, the Qhapaq Ñan" was presented. Its author, Ricardo Espinosa, opened the day by thanking PETROPERU for this constant support to the dissemination of bibliographic material that is a reference for academic research.

The presentation took place before a large audience that filled the facilities of the Peruvian American Cultural Center and had the participation of the mayor of the city, Gerardo Carpio Diaz, among other local authorities.

For Ricardo Espinosa, this work allows, in one way or another, "to preserve our roots, our culture, contributing to the union of brotherly peoples that struggle to get ahead."

In turn, the mayor of the city, Gerardo Carpio, highlighted the great coverage for this presentation, which shows -he precised- that culture is alive in this city and, in that sense, thanked the state oil company for its invaluable support to the letters and arts in general

Espinosa Reyes emphasized that the more than 10 thousand kilometers traveled throughout Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia have allowed him to discover new worlds, new cultures and new experiences. This, he said, is reflected in this important work that now, in its third edition, is presented to the city of Ilo.

In this way, PETROPERU, within the framework of its Cultural Management Policy, reinforces its commitment to knowledge about Peru and the integral development of Ilo, a city in which it is building a new fuel storage and distribution terminal for the Southern region of country.
