PETROPERU presented in Arequipa winning works of the 2015 Copé Award
With a large attendance from the public, the winning works of the V Novel Biennial and XVII Poetry Biennial, corresponding to the 2015 Copé Awards, were presented in Arequipa, in the facilities of the Centro Cultural Peruano Norteamericano.
The ceremony was presented by Tito Cáceres, doctor in Literature and Linguistics from Universidad Nacional San Agustín de Arequipa (UNSAA), who spoke about the winning novel. The poet Javier Manuel Rivera, meanwhile, spoke about the winning Poetry works.
The works presented were the novel “On the route of the silent men”, by Juan Jose Cavero; and the books of poems: “The inner hill”, by Antonio Sarmiento (Copé Oro Award); “Preserved art exhibit”, by Roy Vega; Jácome (Copé Plata Award) and “Prooémium mortis” by Renato Sandoval (Copé Bronce Award).
This presentation of the winning works of the Copé Awards, which PETROPERU organizes since 1979, is one of the many being made by our Company, within our country, in addition to others that will soon take place in Cusco, Piura, Iquitos, Tarapoto and Yurimaguas. The images show the expectation generated amongst the present audience.
