PETROPERÚ presented important technological advance for its mining customers
PETROPERU presented the latest developments brought by its Mining Operations Management System (SantiaGO), developed with the support of IBM, which adapts to the measure of mining customers.
SantiaGO manages, through a single platform, the attention of fuel supply according to the pace of customer demand, reducing costs and improving the level of service.
This system allows for better decision making through the interaction of the various actors in the supply chain (customer, supplier, carrier, operator); the interconnection of measurement and dispatch equipment (GPS, telemetry, automatic dispatch systems); and data exploration for process improvement.
In the beginning, the supply of fuel to the mining sector was in the sales plants and/or terminals; then going on sale of the product put in mine through tank trucks. Today, the market requirement has changed to a service that combines product, transportation and management of the mining operation. Currently, the state oil company is already part of this new trend.
With SantiaGO, PETROPERU is a pioneer in offering a solution for the last stage of evolution of fuel logistics, since it allows it to improve and increase the productivity and availability of equipment dedicated to the production process.
PETROPERU is a leader in the mining fuel market, with a 58% market share and ensures the supply of fuels to more than 65 mining companies nationwide.
