PETROPERU presented books to the municipality of Paramonga

With the purpose of promoting reading among students and making valuable publications available to the community, PETROPERU recently delivered 72 Copé Edition books to the District Municipality of Paramonga.

The titles include the complete works of renowned national authors such as Cesar Vallejo and Abraham Valdelomar, as well as the winning works of the story, poetry, novel and essay Copé awards.

This way, the students and teachers who go to the library of that district, as well as those who participate in the educational programs managed by the municipality, will be able to access said publications.

The delivery of the bibliographic material was done by Syntia Vilca, head of Cultural Management of PETROPERÚ, who highlighted the social commitment of the company to contribute to the development of the population. For his part, the representative of the municipality of Paramonga, Edgar Perez, who received the donation, thanked the company for this important support that will serve to implement the library of the commune.

It should be noted that the district of Paramonga has five thousand 202 students of the initial, primary and secondary levels, as well as 378 teachers, who require the necessary tools for the development of their cognitive abilities and the reinforcement of the habit of reading to improve their learning.

PETROPERU, in accordance with its cultural policy, continues providing reading material, either in libraries or in information centers, to the interior of the country.
