PETROPERU present at the International Book Fair - FILI Iquitos 2022

PETROPERÚ was present at the Iquitos International Book Fair - FILI 2022, through the talks What does the Peruvian story tell? and Urban violence in the Peruvian story, by the writers Ricardo Sumalavia and Miguel Ruiz Effio.

The participating public highlighted the development of these literary meetings in which academics and students reflected on Peruvian literature, generating an enriching dialogue between writers and those attending the conference.

This cultural space that aroused the interest of the public was a great opportunity to remember that the call for the XXII Short Story Biennial and VIII Essay Biennial "2022 Copé Award" is in force, in which Peruvians residing in Peru and abroad in a new journey that seeks to recognize the best of literary creation in our country.

The works must be unpublished and will be received digitally on the website of the PETROPERÚ Cultural Management contest until September 2, 2022.

The Copé Awards have been organized and promoted by PETROPERÚ since 1979, thus continuing its policy and commitment to the development of culture and literary creation at the national level. It should be noted that among the winners of this important award are the Amazonian writers Jorge Nájar (1984), Carlos Reyes (1986) and Ana Varela (1991).
