PETROPERU participates in Ilo anniversary week

The Moquegua province of Ilo celebrates its 48th anniversary of political creation and PETROPERU could not be oblivious to such an important date. In this significant context, on Tuesday 22, there will be a screening of the documentary film Planeta Océano, which seeks to explain - in a simple way - the greatest natural mystery of our planet. The screening will begin at 6:30 p.m., at the Amphitheater of the Coastal Seaboard.

The next day, Wednesday 23, PETROPERU will deliver dozens of books from the Copé Ediciones label, to schools and institutes that have bibliographic and documentation centers. The House of Culture of Ilo will be the scene of this activity, to begin at 10:30 a.m. The delivery of books includes the delivery of a pack of 106 copies of Copé Editions to six educational institutions and two Alternative Basic Education Centers.

Naturally, the joy could not be absent from these activities and for this the great Cecilia Barraza will be, on Thursday 24 at the Coastal Seaboard, in front of the Municipal Palace, where the talented interpreter will delight us with her show "Noches de Encanto". Your presence is welcome from 7 o'clock at night.

WORKS IN URQUIETA LINEN AVE.

Simultaneously, and in view of the proximity of Ilo's jubilee week, PETROPERÚ is moving forward with the asphalting of Av. Lino Urquieta, where the placement of the asphalt layer on this important road was verified. In this way, the avenue will be ready for the civic parade that - on the occasion of the 48th anniversary - will be held this week.

All these activities are part of the program for the anniversary of the Provincial Municipality of Ilo, seeking to strengthen the links of PETROPERU with such an important port, which will soon have a modern Sales Terminal, which is being built 24 kilometers south of the city, in the so-called Loma La Buitrera.
