PETROPERU participated in launch ceremony of the bicentennial agenda
The President of the Board of PETROPERU, James Atkins Lerggios, accompanied by the General Manager, Esteban Bertarelli Bustamante, were part of the invited delegation at the beginning of the commemorative events for the 200 years of independence of our country. The ceremony, presided by the President, Martín Vizcarra, was held in the Main Square of Ayacucho.
At the ceremony, considered "historic" by the head of state, Vizcarra stressed that all the country's institutions must work together to make Peru "a better, sustainable and proud of its diversity."
Officials of the state oil company agreed on highlighting the assertion made by the president, noting that PETROPERU has been working to provide quality hydrocarbons by developing their activities with the highest levels of efficiency, socio-environmental responsibility and sustainability.
The ceremony was attended by various state authorities, including ministers and congressmen, who enjoyed a colorful parade and dances typical of the Ayacucho region.
