PETROPERU paid tribute to the mothers of Ilo

As a previous activity to the Ilo anniversary celebrations, PETROPERU paid a warm tribute to the mothers of that province, as part of the Mother's Day festivities, organized by the provincial municipality of that port.

They were in total more than two thousand mothers, representatives of neighborhood committees, soup kitchens and committees of the glass of milk, from various sectors of the city, who participated in the day, held at the facilities of the Victor Raúl Carbajal Carrera coliseum.

Officials of the state oil company agreed to express their appreciation to each one of those present for their dedicated and hard work. Subsequently, more than 50 appliances were raffled among the attendees.

The mayor of the city, Gerardo Carpio Díaz, thanked the permanent support of PETROPERU for such significant events as this, he said, "not only demonstrates the Company's commitment to the population, but also strengthens relations with its stakeholders in the province, where a modern sales terminal is being built, which will seek to meet the demand for liquid fuels in the southern part of the country.”

This activity is part of PETROPERU's Social Management Plan, which seeks to improve the quality of life of the populations located in the area of influence of its operations, as well as reaffirm its commitment to the progress of Ilo.
