PETROPERU organized sculptor meeting
Within the framework of the exhibition "Mother Earth V. From Industrial Heritage to the Sculptural Body", PETROPERU has organized, this Thursday, July 4, starting at 4:00 p.m., a meeting with the sculptors whose works are part of the sculptural exhibition, which it is currently exhibited in the art room of the Cultural Center of the oil company, located in the district of San Isidro.
The event brings together sculptors from different eras, styles and formations who will share with the public their experiences about the presence of industrial heritage in their production. Among which Ciro Palacios, Miguel Angel Velit, Judith Ayala, Emilio Longhi, Javier Aldana, Mario Torres, among others.
The meeting is aimed at students and the general public. The day will be four hours, divided into two parts and at the end of each day will proceed to formulate questions or comments raised by the public. In addition, certificates will be provided to all attendees.
It is worth mentioning that Mother Earth is a concept created by PETROPERU, within the framework of International Earth Day, to promote awareness-raising cycles of temporary exhibitions, seeking to generate reflection from art and culture with plastic artists of different disciplines and generations.
The exhibition, under the curatorship of Juan Peralta, Daniel Contreras and Canal Museal, has the service of specialized guides who can accompany them during the exhibition. Likewise, visits of students and students in general have been established. It will remain open to the public until August 2, Monday through Friday from 11 am. to 6 pm. The income is totally free.
