PETROPERÚ opens photographic exhibition on the construction process of the New Talara Refinery
The community of Talara will be able to learn about the construction process of the New Talara Refinery which, on April 12, began its gradual and progressive start-up tests with a view to putting it into use in the last quarter of this year.
As part of the activities for the 53rd anniversary of PETROPERÚ and the 105th anniversary of the Talara Refinery, theNew Talara Refinery: History in Images photographic exhibition was inaugurated, which will remain open to the public until next Wednesday, July 27, between the hours of 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Civic Center of the oil city.
In this way, for seven days the residents of Talara will be able to review and receive information about the most modern refining complex on the South Pacific Coast: its objectives, technology and benefits in a new informative space in which they will be able to receive printed material, observe audiovisual material and participate in the presentations of the specialists of the state company from the technical areas of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project - PMRT, Social Management, Environmental Management and Communications, who will make their central presentation starting at 6:00 p.m.
This informative activity carried out by PETROPERÚ is part of the Communication and Citizen Participation Program of the Community Relations Plan (PRC) of the Environmental Impact Study (EIS) of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project (PMRT).
