PETROPERU opened Stone Oil exhibit in UDEP

In a cultural evening, the inauguration of the itinerant exhibition "STONE OIL" was carried out by PETROPERU, which took place in the halls of the Unversidad de Piura, on Thursday night.

The audience was captivated by the didactic and playful way in which the development of the oil industry was shown "and what PETROPERU hopes to achieve through this exhibition is to bring culture to people," said the Deputy Manager of Oil Pipeline Operations, Eng. Dino Valdiviezo Alban.

Also, he mentioned that for PETROPERU, the promotion of culture in the country is an important aspect of PETROPERU, and for that reason it develops cultural activities in a permanent way and STONE OIL was programmed within the framework of the activities for the 41st Anniversary of the North Peruvian Pipeline.

The rector of the University of Piura, Dr. Sergio Balarezo Saldaña, expressed his gratitude to PETROPERU for carrying out this exhibition in Udep's environments. He also remarked that many graduates of said school are part of PETROPERU from where they contribute to the progress of the country.

Gabriela Bertone, curator in charge of the assembly of the exhibition, said that STONE OIL combines science, art and education, in a way that offers scientific knowledge, but within everyone's reach.

The STONE OIL exhibit will remain until May 31 and the public can attend free of charge.
