PETROPERU obtains guarantees to carry out the works of lifting the pipeline at km 237 of the Northern Ramal Oil Pipeline

After an intervention by the Public Prosecutor's Office, the National Police and inspection bodies, guarantees have been obtained for the construction of gantries for the pipeline lift, at Km. 237 of the North Branch of the North Peruvian Pipeline (ORN), located at district of Manseriche, province of Datem del Marañón, Loreto region, which was affected by an attack on June 18.

After the lifting, the competent authorities will be summoned as OSINERMING, OEFA, the Public Ministry, the regional government, local governments, PCM, MINEM, and other local authorities as well as media, to verify the origin of the spill.

PETROPERU will continue reporting about the evolution of the situation and invokes the inhabitants to maintain a climate of dialogue and social peace that will allow cleaning and remediation tasks in the affected area, in order to restore, in the shortest possible time, the environment to its usual conditions.
