PETROPERÚ makes a new call for the purchase of Biodiesel B100

In line with its commitment to guarantee the supply of the country's hydrocarbon market, PETROPERÚ made a new call for the purchase of Biodiesel B100 to cover the demand of the state company for the production of fuels.

This call begins today 01.05.2022, sending out invitations to participate in the process to qualified national and international suppliers with experience in supplying this fuel. The process will culminate with the final contract award on 01.11.2022, according to the established schedule.

With this acquisition of Biodiesel B100, for which PETROPERÚ has requested the simultaneous control of the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic through its Office of the Institutional Control Body, the demand of the state company will be covered.

The process will be carried out with total transparency, in accordance with PETROPERÚ's hydrocarbon acquisition procedure, in addition to taking into account the recommendation made in the legal technical report by which the purchase of national Biodiesel B100 made between October and November was declared void. of 2021.

As may be recalled, at the end of December of last year, PETROPERÚ reported the nullity of the contracts derived from the Competition Process No. COM-012-2021-GDCH/PETROPERÚ "Acquisition of Biodiesel B100 in the local market for the period January-April 2022", which is why this new call has been made.
