PETROPERÚ maintains its support to health establishments in Villa El Salvador

PETROPERÚ began a series of informational and coordination meetings with the authorities of the health sector of the Lima district of Villa El Salvador, within the framework of the process of developing a new Corporate Program promoted by the Social Management Management of the state company and that will benefit pregnant women and families with children under one year of age.

Complying with strict biosafety protocols, due to COVID-19, the meetings were held with the directors of the health establishments "Héroes del Cenepa" and "Brisas de Pachacamac", located near the Conchán Refinery, where the work to come was known. developing both hospital centers in the provision of services and support to pregnant women and infants, from birth to one year of life.

With this knowledge, PETROPERÚ will seek to contribute, through community health strategies, with the development of both audiences, promoting a healthy birth and better care and nutrition practices; through the use of technology and promoting strategies to fight the coronavirus, in the area of influence close to its operations.

As part of this social program, additional support will be sought with home visits, virtual counseling services, providing educational material and kits for health facilities and beneficiary families.

PETROPERÚ has the firm intention of contributing to the reduction of the risks of anemia, considering that four out of every 10 children suffer from this condition, which has been exacerbated by the health crisis.
