Petroperú maintains fuel supply in Iquitos

Petroperú informs the public of the following:

Incorrect and speculative information has been shared on social media, stating that there will be no fuel for four days in the city of Iquitos.

In this regard, Petroperú informs you that - despite the critical situation of river levels - it has been supplying the required fuel in this city in a controlled manner.

This is possible thanks to the inventory of regular gasoline and gasoline 84 at the Iquitos Plant and, in addition to this, a volume of 530,000 gallons of gasoline is being unloaded from the Puerto América barge. It also has the Río Pisqui barge, with a volume of an additional 250,000 gallons. Other barges will be added to this on the Pucallpa - Iquitos and Yurimaguas - Iquitos routes.

It should be added that consumers can check the price list in the Facilito application of the Energy and Mining Investment Supervisory Agency - Osinergmin and at the Amazon River Petrocenter (Loreto/Fitzcarrald).
