PETROPERU launches social management software

In the midst of great expectations, the launch of the Social Management Software (Gesso) of PETROPERU took place, which will allow access to information - in real time - about the various activities, projects and questions that arise during the Operations carried out by the company. state oil company, both in the Conchán, Talara and Iquitos refineries, as well as along the North Peruvian Pipeline (ONP).

This system will also allow better monitoring and evaluation of social actions, thus managing much more updated information with a single objective: to make better decisions.

The presentation was attended by officials of the Sub Management of Systems and Information and the Sub Management of Community Relations. It will be the company Social Technology S.A.C., specialist in software development oriented to social and environmental areas, that will be responsible for managing the software.

It has an easy navigation platform, allowing the administration of requests, complaints and visits to the communities. It also has a project module where you can monitor each project belonging to the lines of action of the Corporate Management Social Management and Communications.

Likewise, it will allow to have a list of the localities adjoining the operations of the Company and the commitments assumed with them, facilitating compliance with them, on the dates agreed with the local leaders, reinforcing the social license and diminishing the possible risks in the various operations.

In this way, the Corporate Management of Social Management and Communications will have an added value with the generation of reports with relevant information and in real time.
