PETROPERÚ launches fleet card for Pan-American athlete transportation and other customers

PETROPERU FLOTAS is a new electronic card implemented by the state oil company so that corporate companies can manage their fuel supply needs, manage the consumption costs of their vehicle fleets and optimize their operating costs.

For the customer, the technological solution consists of this postpaid card with which they can pay for fuel purchases without the need for cash; an operation that will generate an electronic invoice. This solution implies a development in a web environment that, together with the POS of the service stations and cards, allow the safe and correct processing, storage and transmission of the transactions.

The card allows to meet the fuel supply needs of corporate clients with added value and generate traffic and income to the PETROPERU Network service stations (pumps), by supplying fuel to these clients' vehicle fleet.

Among the main benefits of PETROPERU FLOTAS are: its national coverage; agile (electronic) billing; budget management, expenses and balances online; better decision making by data analytics; cost reduction in administrative processes and access to preferential corporate rate.

This card has been developed in partnership with VisaNet Peru, which guarantees high standards in security and platform availability. Likewise, all the transport of athletes in buses for the Lima 2019 Pan American and ParaPanamerican Games will use the PETROPERU FLOTAS card, since the fuels of the state oil company are the official fuels of this important international sporting event.
