Petroperú launches 2025 internship program "Sowing Seeds"

Petroperú launched the 2025 Internship Program "Sowing Seeds," a corporate initiative being implemented simultaneously at all operational locations nationwide, in line with its commitment to training new professionals and promoting national talent in various professional areas.

The company was welcomed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Alejandro Narváez Liceras, and the General Manager, Eng. Oscar Vera Gargurevich, who welcomed the students and graduates from various universities and institutes across the country, offering a message of encouragement and motivation for a successful start to their training.

"Our main motivation is to train new professionals who will contribute to the development of Peru, and what better way to do so than in the country's leading company. We welcome the students with enthusiasm and commitment, hoping that this great group of interns will develop the company's next leaders," said Alejandro Narváez Liceras, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petroperú. A total of 120 young people have been selected to join the company, beginning an induction and training process that will allow them to acquire knowledge, skills, and direct experience in the hydrocarbon industry. It is worth noting that 60% of the participants come from public universities, reaffirming Petroperú's commitment to equal opportunities for all Peruvians.

With this initiative, Petroperú continues to sow the future, investing in a new generation of professionals capable of facing the challenges of the energy sector and actively contributing to the country's development.
