Petroperú joins the efforts for the recovery of Talara

In permanent coordination with the provincial authorities, Petroperú will continue -in the course of the next few days- supporting the cleaning and prevention work in various sectors of the city, affected by the recent rains caused by the passage of Yaku cyclone.

It should be noted that, as soon as the alarms were activated due to the intensity of the rains, the State company came to provide the relevant support, using heavy machinery and specialized personnel hired to remove the accumulation of water and mud on the main roads of the oil province.

The tasks included the cleaning of the pluvial channel of the city adjacent to main avenues, as well as the sanitation of streets, avenues and berms, among others, where stagnant water and a large amount of waste were removed. In this way, it is sought to facilitate the evacuation of rainwater in the face of new rainfall.

These actions are executed in permanent coordination with the provincial authority and have the support of the contractor companies of the state oil company.

This way, Petroperú reiterates its permanent commitment to contribute to the well-being and care of the population of Talara, encouraging them to work together for the recovery of the province.
