PETROPERU joins ECOLECTA 2018
It seeks to promote the reuse of millions of plastic caps and purchase wheelchairs and orthopedic devices.
PETROPERU, as part of its social support actions, and the Tierra y Ser Organization, dedicated to raising awareness about recycling, decided to join forces and make the big day of public collection to acquire orthopedic devices and wheelchairs for people with disabilities and low economic resources.
The activity, called "ECOLECTA 2018: THINK-RECYCLE-ACT", will be held next Wednesday, August 15. That day there will be a public collection, through piggy banks, and also thousands of plastic caps will be collected, which will be reused later.
During the press conference in which the start of such an important day was announced, the support of the main companies that support this activity was highlighted, highlighting the presence of PETROPERU that - again - reinforces its commitment to the community, in benefit of more Peruvians.
