PETROPERU is the official fuel of the Lima 2019 Games

The Lima 2019 Games Organizing Committee presented PETROPERU as the Official Fuel of the 2019 Pan Am and Para Pan Am Games Lima, which will guarantee the supply of Lima's 2019 bus fleet -including 350 units- in two stations located in Villa El Salvador and Callao.

The transport vehicles will be at the service of the transfer of the sports delegations of Lima 2019 and will be able to be identified with the presence of the slogan "Official Fuel of the Lima 2019 Games".

In this event -carried out at the San Diego service station, located in Villa El Salvador- Carlos Paredes, President of the Board of PETROPERU, Carlos Neuhaus, President of COPAL; Álvaro Torres, Sub Director of Transportation of the Games Lima 2019; Juan Antonio Silva, Director of Communications, Marketing and Marketing of Lima 2019, among other personalities, where in attendance.

It should be noted that the state oil company sponsors 4 participating athletes in Lima 2019: María Fernanda Reyes (Surf), Dunia Felices (ParaSwimming), Andy Martínez (Athletics) and Efraín Sotacuro (ParaAthletics); who will hold up the name of Peru.

"As PETROPERU, we are proud to support the Lima 2019 Games and the athletes who will leave the name of our country very high" said Carlos Paredes, President of the state oil company, ensuring the Company's commitment to the national sport. In turn, Carlos Neuhaus celebrated the strategic alliance with the Company, which is an important impetus for the development not only of the sport, but of the country.

The Lima 2019 buses will use the PETROPERU FLOTAS card, which is a technological solution implemented by the Company so that corporate customers can manage the fuel supply, manage the consumption expenses of their vehicle fleets and optimize their operating costs. This solution has been developed in partnership with VisaNet Peru, which guarantees high standards in security and platform availability.

This alliance also establishes that PETROPERU can hold competitions related to the diffusion of the Lima 2019 Games, use tickets for promotional purposes and develop activations in the competition and non-competition venues of the 2019 Pan-American and Parapan American Games Lima.

The Pan American Games Lima 2019 will be inaugurated on July 26, 2019. The continental contest will bring together 6,680 athletes from 41 countries and delegations throughout the Americas, which will participate in 39 sports and 61 disciplines. For its part, the Parapan Am Games will host 1,890 for athletes from 33 countries, who will participate in 17 sports and 18 disciplines.

PETROPERU reaffirms its commitment to sport and its contribution to strengthening a society with values, sponsoring the most important multi-sport event on the continent and the most important in the world after the Olympic Games.
