Petroperú informs the Talara community of the following:

As part of the final stabilization phase of the new conversion units of the New Talara Refinery (NRT), in recent days sounds associated with the normal functioning of operations have been heard, which will gradually decrease starting next week .

Therefore, any anomaly inside the refinery is ruled out; since these sounds - of a temporary nature - are part of the activities expected in a safe optimization process in refining complexes such as the NRT.
