Petroperú implements a dining room to benefit people with disabilities

Petroperú delivered equipment and kitchen implements to the soup kitchen of the Municipal Office for Attention to People with Disabilities - OMPAED Talara, which will benefit 1,814 people registered in poverty and extreme poverty in the city.

The transfer will contribute to the implementation of the first soup kitchen exclusively for people with disabilities in the province, improving the health conditions in the preparation of food and to which the beneficiaries have access at a reasonable price of 3 to 5 soles, according to the socioeconomic evaluation of each user.

As part of this contribution, they were given an industrial kitchen, a refrigerator, a set of pots, among other kitchen utensils and biosafety items that will be useful for food preparation.

This initiative is executed in line with Petroperú's Social Management Policy and the Community Relations Plan of the Environmental Impact Study of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project, in coordination with the Provincial Municipality of Talara.

Biomechanical equipment

This contribution is added to the recently made contribution of 79 biomechanical equipment: 45 wheelchairs for adults, 24 canes and 10 walkers with wheels with the aim of contributing to the improvement of the mobility conditions and quality of life of people with disabilities in the oil province.
