PETROPERU had a remarkable participation in ExpoAmazonica

PETROPERÚ had an outstanding participation in the VIII ExpoAmazónica held in Pucallpa between 9 and 12 August. With his motto "the energy that moves us", the state oil company was a sponsor in this important event.

The Company shared information related to the construction of the new Talara Refinery, the modernization of the North Peruvian Pipeline, the social management activities and its contribution to the progress of Pucallpa. Congressmen, academics, native brothers, students and thousands of visitors were received with warmth at the PETROPERU booth.

The 2018 Edition achieved an impressive record of attendance during the four days of the event, in which more than 12 regions were present with their best productive, tourist, industrial, gastronomic and artistic offers; also participating with prominent exponents in forums, technology wheels and business roundtables.

The Amazon Expo is an annual activity that was born in the Amazon Interregional Council, made up of the regional governments of Loreto, Madre de Dios, San Martin, Ucayali, Huánuco and Amazonas.

At the closing ceremony it was announced that the organization of the IX Edition will be in charge of the Loreto Region, which will take on the challenge of continuing to stimulate the growth of this exhibition, which from 2019 will be considered as a commonwealth.
